Illustrators Mix-up

So for a class, a few friends of mine were assigned to take the much beloved work of one picturebook author and have it illustrated by another artist, like as if "Goodnight Moon" was suddenly re-illustrated by Chris Van Allsburg (the Jumanji guy). Creepy thought. I was asked to do a few examples of such mix-uppery to rather interesting results. Can you name the original book and the new illustrator? If you can, I will send you a whole freaking plate of brownies, because I know for sure that I probably couldn't.
