Scritch scratch scritch.
L.T. Host is great at kissy scenes! Maybe she can help. This drawing is sweet :).
Oooh, I'll have to pick her brain tonight! And thanks...I swear, the scene really is heartwarming and wonderful, it's just...in my head. And nowhere else. :)
Just write that: "Then they kissed, and it was really heartwarming and wonderful." Writing is all about letting the reader use their imagination, right?
Saaaay, that there's not a bad idea, Adam. :) "You know that feeling you get when you kiss someone maybe not for the first time but for the best time and you totally know what they're thinking and it's probably kinda the same as what you're thinking which is probably along the same lines as "WOOOOOWWW"? That's totally what this kiss felt like. Kinda. Maybe, I don't know, use your imagination."Tadaaaaaaaa.
I think that paragraph is one that wouldn't even get touched AT ALL during revision. Serious perfection in a kissy scene. And most people wouldn't agree that it's easier to draw than write. I certainly wouldn't. UNLESS you're talking kissy scenes.... Then yeah. I'd be easier for me to paint a kissy mural on a 50 foot building.
Peggy, I would reeeeeallly like to see a 50 foot kissy scene mural. I HAVE A WALL AND PAINT. Let's get on this!
