I'm back! And I know I promised I'd post all the pictures from vacation but...I think I was a little overzealous in thinking I'd actually do anything but RELAX on vacation. Oh well. I'll just pick up where I left off and not beat myself up over it. Whew! Feeling less stressed already.
This comes from a weird dream I had about an updated version of Puff the Magic Dragon. Jackie Paper is also a girl now. And they solve crimes. And they still frolic in the autumn mist but it's usually looking for clues. And so on.

Why does it not surprise me in the least that you made "Jack" into a girl? Nicely done.
I agree with the above. Also, I suspect THIS version of Jackie was the original inspiration for Veronica Mars and, perhaps more likely, Buffy. A proto-Buffy protag!

Ha! Thanks, Robin. Tough girls are fun to draw. And heck, I don't think of Jack as a boy's name, considering it was mine for a few weeks. :D
