Day 168: Mr. 3ust4ce 7ill3y

On a whim, I decided to enter the latest New Yorker contest. Whatever happens, I was just happy to draw so many wires.

Feel free to stop by and leave a comment there! I don't know if it'll increase my chances, but it'll be something I can put on my resume: "Piece (self) published by the New Yorker (.com) garnered three comments (two of which were NOT my mom.)" Yes, my resume is VERY professionalishy.

I would buy that book bag. I'm just saying.

Once again, I wonder what the purpose of the sliders is. To adjust his collar, perhaps?

Aw, thanks so much, guys! And Adam, you know me and my sliders. You're right, one's probably for collar adjustment. One's for the height of his hat (for better reception) and the last is for the distance from his monocle to his face. He gets them mixed up from time to time.

Look at ME! - I'm the King of New York......!

My favorite: The butterflyishness of his ear piece-- an insect that obviously fascinates him! And the knobby knuckles. And the teeny microphone that makes me wonder just who he's talking to....
